Kindergarteners can read and write all the letters of the alphabet, in both uppercase as well as lowercase letters. They can write simple sentences and identify rhyming words. While this is the time when their vocabulary expands and they form their foundations in the various subjects, it is important to identify the problems that some kindergarteners might face at this stage. Allowing enough time and resource in the kindergarten curriculum for revision will help parents and teachers gauge the ability and learning levels of the little ones.
